Heather Johnson is a highly experienced educator with a deep passion for helping children grow as confident, capable learners. With many years of experience as an elementary school classroom teacher and a background in school leadership, Heather brings a strong understanding of child development, curriculum, and effective instructional practices to every lesson.

She holds a master’s degree in education with a focus on teaching mathematics, giving her a strong foundation in how children learn and how to design instruction that is clear, engaging, and responsive to student needs. In addition, Heather has completed specialized training through Orton-Gillingham, equipping her with evidence-based strategies for supporting students with dyslexia and other reading challenges.

Today, Heather works privately with students, specializing in literacy development. She is committed to empowering each learner through individualized instruction, research-based methods, and a warm, supportive approach that helps students build skills—and confidence—that last a lifetime.
